Halloween

Nothing like trunk or treat in the rain. Because it was cold and rainy it turned into a quick activity. Batman and Superman Red Power Ranger and Cinderellie.

Tiger spent the trunk or treat asleep in the car, same as last year. But she stayed dry and warm. When we got home she raided the boys treats, while thry were having hot chocolate and sitting in front of the fire.

Hayden's Baptism

Hayden is Eight! What a great age.
His baptism date happened to fall on Labor Day weekend and we knew some of our family members would not be able to come because of this, so we asked Hayden if he wanted to wait a month so more family could be there. He said he had already waited 8 years for this and did not want to wait any longer.
We are proud that he chose to be baptised. He is a great kid.

Thanks to all those who came to support Hayden. We have a great family!

Raptors Game

Every year the boys baseball teams hand out free tickets to see an Ogden Raptors game (they are a local minor league team). This year Lynnette and her kids were in town and knowing how much some of them like baseball we invited her boys to go with us. They were so excited even though we had to sit clear out by left field. We were hoping for a few foul balls but this year we had no such luck.Waiting for the game to start. They played against the Helena Brewers. Tanner, Adam, Hayden, Isaac, Devin and EllieWaiting for the game to be over. The Raptors won 19-1. The best part of the night getting autographs.
The team is very kind and sign what ever the kids hand them.

Manti Pagent

This summer we took the kids to see the Manti Pagent. Such a neat program. The girls fell asleep before it was over but the boys loved it and wanted to go back the next night.
While waiting for the pagent to start the boys became friends with the family sitting behind us and here they are playing cards with them.
The beautiful Manti Temple

The girls waiting.

Joel's parents and Uncle Travis and Aunt Elisa joined us there.

Father's Day

Ever since my kids watched the Princess Frog, they have wanted to try "man catchen' beignets". I had never heard of them before so I googled them and found a recipe, we made them for our dad on father's day. Here are the boys taking Joel his father's day breakfast in bed.He didn't want to get the powdered sugar all over his bed so he move to the table to eat. The boys with their present to dad. If you notice what he got you can see that they always get him things that they want to use, or have him play with them with.

Summer Birthdays

During the summer we celebrate all three of the boys birthday. This year they were lucky enough to have cousins or friends around for their birthday parties.
Devin's BirthdayDevin always wants a cowboy theme for his birthday cake so this is what Joel and I came up with this year.Devin blowing out his candles, 9 years old. Devin's birthday this year happen to be during our Lewis family reunion. Fun to have Lewis cousins at his party.

Hayden's Birthday Hayden chose a Star Wars theme.Because he turned 8, he was allowed to invite friends for a party, so we invited all the Jedi Knights in our ward for some star wars fun.

Here are our Jedi's, Storm troopers and one bad lady.

Tanner's Bithday
Tanner wanted a bumble bee cake, Bumblebee the transformer.Tanner always choses to go to the beach for his birthday. This year we tried a different location. We went to Stone Resivior, Laurie's family joined us for some end of the summer jet skiing.

I loved Tanner's face in this picture, even if it is a little bit fuzzy.

I don't know why he always wants to go the beach he won't ride in the tube or on the jet skis.
This year Joel convinced him to go for a birthday ride and let him drive. He loved it he told everyone that 6 is old enough to learn to drive.
Love these boys, they make our family so very happy. I hope they had great days and know how much we love them.
