Hair Cut

I did it. I have been saying for a while that I was going to get my hair cut, and yesterday I had some time to waste so I was visiting Tammy at her work (she works at a hair salon) and I had her cut it off. I had 13 inches cut off and will send it to Lock of Love.

This week Melanie and Laurie's husband were going to be out of town and my husband is always gone during the week, so we decided to get together and spend a few days to help the time go by faster. Chanae, mom and Cali (and kids) joined us at Laurie's house for some fun.

We had 14 kids (all but 3 under the age of 6) and 6 adults. The cousins had a great time together. It was good for my kids because they have never really had that much to do with their cousins.

While the kids were playing we spent some time making crafts. We made bows for the girls hair and beaded braclets and necklaces.

It was a fun time to spend hanging out with my sisters. We did miss those that were not there, Lynnette, Venita, Becca and Kami. We will have to do it again when you can join us as well.

Real Cowboy

A couple of weeks ago we went to Joels parents to spend the weekend. My Devin loves to ride horses with his grandpa (whom he belives is a real cowboy). Aunt Elisa had a riding lesson while we were there and Devin went along. While at the arena grandma let Devin ride one of the horses. The horse started to run and because Devin hasn't had very much experience and because he is only 6 he tummbled off the horse. His grandma told him that he was now a real cowboy because all real cowboys have fallen off their horse before. Devin was pretty proud to be in the same catagory as his grandpa. When they got back Joel asked Devin if he was ready to be done riding horses. Devins response was "No, I just need more practice".
