Party at Grandma Wilsons

We had a great weekend at grandma and grandpa house. Mom had her birthday party for everyone who had a birthday the last half of the year. Because Kami is on her mission mom planned the party this last weekend on Kami's birthday. Since it was so close to Halloween and nobody goes home for this holiday mom planned a Halloween party as well and all the kids brought their costumes. It was a fun time since none of us live really close this was a chance for all of us to see all the fun costumes. The kids just had a blast being together.
The cowboy and cowgirls. Some of the kids.
All of the kids (Kate is behind Alexys.) Venita and Jeph (a cowgirl and her cow)

Melanie (nerd) Tom (?) Emily (who wouldn't wear her costume but looked very cute in Ashlynn's puppy costume.)

Taylor as a secrity officer. Andrew as a cowboy.

Erika (a scary pumpkin) Klayton as an Incredible.

Tan with his big muscles. Chanae and David L. (not quite awake couple)

Brogan (an elephant) Kate (as a princess)
Hayd (iron man) Alexys (a princess)
Ashlynn (a very sleepy puppy) and Uncle Ken

Henry and Ashlynn as two cute puppies.
I didn't get everyone. I am sorry check the other family blog sites. I missed Isaac who is going to be a football player, Adam a super hero (? sorry I forgot which one), and Sarah, a ladybug. We missed you guys at our party, and Aunt Kami. We had a lot of fun, Thanks Grandma!

Tony Grove

We took a drive up to Tony Grove, in the Logan Canyon. It was a beautiful fall day. We had not been there since we moved back and wanted to take the boys, as well as look for places to take our trailer. So we planned a picnic and enjoyed the drive. On the way up the mountain we saw a couple of moose. Then picniced beside the lake.

After our lunch we walked around the lake.

The boys found some snow in the shade and enjoyed a snowball fight.

Ellie walking with her daddy.

The boys by the lake, trying to skip rocks. There were not many rocks to be found it seems like we were not the first ones there throwing rocks into the water.

Some of the beautiful country side.

Bakers Visit

We have great friends the Bakers, from Ohio, who had the opportunity to come to Utah for conference, a couple of weekends ago. And while they were in town came to visit us. It was so fun to see them. We really have missed their family. I told my boys that they were coming and the week before they came everyday Tanner would ask if that was the day they were coming. They were so glad to see them. They all consider Johnny as their personal toy. Tanner on more than one occation called them his Bakers. Johnny, Margot, and Beth with Ellie.
Rebeckah, Margot, and Pres. Baker.
The Bakers were our family while we lived in Ohio and never missed one of the boys birthday parties even though we have 2 that are two days apart. Since we were gone this year they missed all the birthdays and so made up for it when they came by bringing presents for the boys and Ellie.
Pres. Baker, Beth, Johnny with Ellie, Amanda, and Tanner.
Johnny, Amanda and the boys playing with their new toys.
The boys were so happy to see them. Tanner gave Margot the biggest hug, and cried when they took Johnny to the airport and left him here. He also tried to convice Margot that she needed to stay with us, she had a bed in his room she could use. We were all very glad to see them, and hope they make it back again. Thanks for the visit!

Soccer 2008

Devin and Hayden played soccer again this year and had a great time. There was only 5 kids on the team, and only 4 played at a time. So it was a little different than we were used to, but because there were so few players they got to kick the ball more often, make more goals and felt that they were important players on their team.
