I put Ellie in pigtails. I thought that she looked so cute. She was not at all thrilled about getting her picture taken, so Hayden took the picture while I held her. The pigtails did not last long, the one on the left side is falling out.









Tanner called Grandma Wilson the other day and asked if he could come to her house and if she would make him cookies, because Grandma always has cookies for him. She of course said that he could come and sure enough she had cookies. Since it was in the middle of the week we couldn't just run up to grandma and grandpas so we invited them to come watch the boys play soccer and sure enough they came, bringing the cookies. Here they are enjoying grandmas cookies and they even shared one with Ellie.







Ellie loves to help me in the kitchen. She loves just to sit on the counter and watch me cook, but sometimes she likes to help. Such a great little helper.

Preschool

We did it, we put Tanner in preschool. Not by our choice, but so that he could continue to receive therapy.

Tanner was born with hypotonia, which is low muscle tone, or in other words he was a floppy baby. He was immediately referred to The Discovery Center, an early intervention facility, for therapy services, which he has continued to receive weekly since he was born. Tanner is doing fabulous, but because I wanted his development to be monitored for a while still, I had him tested here in Utah to see if he qualified for services. He does of course.

In Ohio I would take him once a week and then stay with him so I could learn how to help him at home. When he qualified for services here they told me they wanted to put him in preschool, from 2 to 4 days a week. I said no, Tanner just turned 4 and I was not ready for him to be gone that long, besides the school was on the very south end of the county and it took me 25 minutes on the freeway to get there, I did not want him riding a bus that long. So I asked if I could just bring him in once a week for therapy.

They told me the only way they provide services to kids is through the preschool. So because Tanner is still in need of therapy I agreed to one day a week. Yesterday was his first day to go on the bus. I took him the week before. It is hard for me to let him go, but he loves it so that makes it easier.

Ellie's 6 months old

Our Ellie is 6 months old, my does it go by so fast. She has been so fun to have in our family. The boys really love her, they are always trying to make her smile or laugh. We have been truely blessed by our children. Here are some pictures of Ellie during the last few months.

Summer Fun

We have had a great summer. Joel was saying the other day that he has not had such a busy summer for a long time. It has been so fun being back closer to family. While we lived in Ohio we felt that we were missing out on so many things and so this summer we tried to take advantage of the fact that we are now close enough to attend.





So here are some of the fun things we did this summer.


Fuller Family Reunion at Bear Lake





Bear Lake was a lot of fun. We were able to see some of Joel's cousins that we have not had a chance to see for years.

Devin's Birthday

Joel took Devin and Hayden up in to the Uintah's with grandpa Lewis. The boys had a great time riding horses and fishing.

Celebration at Promontory Point



This was a fun day. We got to tour both trains there, ride on an engine powered rail car, ride a hand pumped car, and the boys threw cow chips and wood through a hole.


David and Kimberly's Wedding



My little brother got married. It was a beautiful day. It was so neat to be in the temple with my family. Everybody was there, except my two youngest sisters, one was on a mission and the other was babysitting all 21 nieces and nephews. They we be there on the next one I'm sure.

Tanner's Birthday



My Tanner loves trains, so for his birthday we took the kids to Union Station in Ogden to see all the many trains they had a great time looking at them and climbing on them. His favorite was the little model train that they could make go. We also went mini golfing. The boys have been asking for a while if we could go golfing so while we were in Ogden we took the opportunity to play. It turned out to be alot of fun. Tanner, most holes would hit his ball then pick it up and put it into the hole.


Hayden's Birthday





For Hayden's birthday we were lucky to have family stop by and celebrate it with us. Mel and Tom and fam came for lunch (they were passing through and needed a place to take a break. We are glad they did, it made Hayden's birthday more fun.) Tammy and James also came for cake and ice cream. Later that day we took the kids bowling and grandma and grandpa Lewis came as well as Travis and Elisa. It was a fun day for Hayden.


Labor Day at Uncle Brent and Aunt Janice's




We spent our Labor Day at Brent and Janice's. Although it was a little cold, the sun came out and it warmed up enough that we had a chance to go down the water slide. It was a blast. I think Devin and Drue hold the record for the most trips down the slide, with Joel right behind them. It was a fun weekend and we plan on going back for one last summer fun weekend next week.
